Five time Grammy nominated artist Kitaro has broken into Broadway with a soundscore created, composed and performed for the backdrop to Cirque Ingenieux, an original story in the European Cirque tradition.

Set at the turn of the century, Cirque Ingenieux is the story of a young girl who fallis in love with a single ring circus. Returning to the empty tent later that night she discovers a magical and sometimes disturbing display of performance artistry. Without the use of dialogue, the story of Cirque Ingenieux had to be told purely through visual and musical effects. Piecing together the different elements of this grand scheme is the music of Kitaro. The resulting soundtrack ranges from a Viennese Waltz to a driving contemporary beat and features painfully haunting melodies.
