TOTAL TIME: 58',55,
Music for the Spirit Volume 2
is a heady reflection of the multi-cultural world in which we live.
The collection begins with "Gaia," by
Kitaro, one of the founding fathers of New
Age music. History is also represented by Kitaro's
"Tenku," recorded in a 200-year old farm house in the Japanese Alps.
Also included is Luis Perez:; "Sleeping Woman,"
recorded in part using pre-Columbian rnusical artifices.
Another Luis, guitarist Luis Villegas,
brings two cuts from his popular album Café Ole,
each a mix of finger-shredding arpeggios and unforgettable melodies. New
Flamenco guitar favorites Benedetti & Svoboda
also contribute two tracks from their exciting album
Flamenco Dreams.
In Lee Blaske's Journey of a Vampire,
you find yourself captured by the artistry as much by the vampire narrator,
enticing and exciting you with tales of his first 200 years as one of the living
dead. Percussionist Steve Reid, an original
member of The Rippingtons, takes you on a different type of exotic journey.
Julliard-trained pianist Dave Eggar brings
two songs from his new album Serenity
to this weld-rounded collection. And finally, you will find a touch of the
Classics with a song from the Domo collection
Classics for The Heart bringing Music
for the Spirit Volume 2 to a final sublime crescendo.
Music for the Spirit is music for always.

DOMO 46512

DOMO 45601
The artistry of Fred Benedetti and
George Svoboda brings to the world of music a
celebration of Flamenco guitar. From peaceful, soulful expressions to,
fiery-impassioned rumbas, from traditional Spanish Flamenco flair to Southwest
Novelle Flamenco nuance, Flamenco Dreams has

"Bahia Breeze" by
Steve Reid from the album
Passion in Paradise
DOMO47489
Legendary jazz icon Miles Davis describes Steve Reids.as
"One of the most imaginative percussionists of the decade." Attempting to
explain the artistry of Steve Reid is like
stiving to describe the indescribable. Reid's musical signature does not
reverberate in the ear so much as it resonates within the soul, perhaps because
it is composed of the most fundamental element of human existence, the spirit
within.
"Tenku" by
Kitaro from the album
Tenku
DOMO 71060
The title means heavenly sky and reflects the open air environment of
Kitaro's home studio. This album was
recorded at Kitaro's 200 year old farm house
in the Japanese Alps.
"Dark Angel" by
Lee Blaske from the album
Journey of a Vampire
DOMO 46311
With Journey of a Vampire,
Lee Blaske creates the dark beautiful world
where the Vampire lives in the hearts of all hopeless romantics. There is no
fear of horror, only desire lives here beside the sultry, sometimes haunting
classical melodies that conjures up images between the ancient and the eternal.
"Vocalise" by
Dow Artists from the album

arrangements of piano and violin underscore the clarity and passion found in the
